How to prepare Chestnut Coffee Almond Cake:

  1. Prepare the chestnut shortcrust pastry:
    Follow the quick and easy recipe (link not provided). Once ready, set aside.
  2. Prepare the filling:
    a. Preheat a static oven to 180°C (350°F).
    b. Toast almonds on a baking sheet for 5 minutes. Remove and let cool.
    c. Blend almonds with 20g of sugar until finely chopped.
