Cinnamon Apple Fritters: a delicious snack that the whole family will love…
Super easy classic Cinnamon Apple Fritters, ready in no time and served with a dusting of powdered sugar are perfect as an autumn dessert. This recipe is one of the most made in the Fall, the apple slices wrapped in golden, crispy batter on the outside and soft on the inside are truly a treat. There are many versions of this recipe such as those with Rum or those with Walnuts but also with Ricotta Baked.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml (1/2 cup minus 1 tbsp) milk
- 1 egg
- 120 g (1 cup) plain flour / all-purpose flour
- 3 apples (Bramley, Granny Smith, or other tart baking apples)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 lemon
- Vegetable oil for frying, as needed
- Icing sugar / powdered sugar for dusting, as needed
How to make Cinnamon Apple Fritters:
- Put the milk and egg in a bowl and mix everything together.
- Get a fairly smooth mixture.
- Add the flour and baking powder sifted together a little at a time as we mix everything together.
- The batter is ready.
- Clean the apples by removing the core with the apple cutter.
- Cut them into slices that are not too thin.
- Heat the oil to 160°, then integrate the apples in the batter and fry them.
- They should brown on both sides completely.
- Once ready, drain them on fried paper and let them cool.
- Serve them with a dusting of powdered sugar.
