Cream Cheese Waffles – Soft and Delicious!

When I Make These Waffles in the Morning, Everyone Rushes to the Table: I Top Them However I Want

Looking for a different breakfast treat? If so, you can’t miss out on these waffles. They’re a dessert that always tempts both adults and kids. Adding cream cheese to the waffle batter offers several benefits, both in terms of flavor and texture:

  • Creamy Flavor: Cream cheese adds a rich, creamy note to the waffles, making them more delicious and unique.
  • Soft Texture: Adding cream cheese can make the batter softer and moister, preventing dry waffles.
Increased Protein: Cream cheese is a good protein source, making the meal more nutritious and filling.

If you choose a low-fat or probiotic cream cheese, you might get additional health benefits like reduced calorie intake or gut health support. The preparation is so quick you’ll hardly believe it – the process is so fast it takes just 2 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (450g) cream cheese (protein-enriched, Greek-style, or light)
  • 1/2 cup (70g) all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup (42g) stevia sweetener (or 1/3 cup (85g) maltitol, erythritol, or sugar)
  • 2 tsp (8g) vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Cream Cheese Waffles :

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, eggs, sweetener, salt, vanilla sugar, flour, and lemon juice.
  2. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and homogeneous.
  3. Heat a waffle iron, grease it, pour two separate scoops of batter, close the iron, and cook for 4 minutes. Repeat until you’ve used all the batter.
  4. Top as desired with honey, maple or agave syrup, protein chocolate or hazelnut spread, light jam, or Greek yogurt with fresh fruit.

These waffles are a delicious, lower-calorie alternative to traditional waffles. Enjoy your breakfast!
