Fluffy pancakes, the super fluffy recipe that will make you fall in love…
As you can easily imagine, fluffy pancakes get their name from their soft and super fluffy texture . Now known worldwide for their versatility and goodness, pancakes are a tasty and easy-to-make breakfast or snack. Today let’s prepare together a different version that will make you fall in love already at the first bite. Although the ingredients used are the same as the classic version of pancakes, the method of preparation and baking, will allow us to get pancakes much higher and fluffy as a cloud.
Ingredients for Fluffy pancakes:
- 40g (1/3 cup) all-purpose flour
- 30g (2 tablespoons) whole milk
- 2 eggs
- 3g (3/4 teaspoon) baking powder
- 25g (2 tablespoons) granulated sugar
- Butter for cooking, as needed
How to prepare Fluffy pancakes:
- Separate the yolks from the egg whites in two separate bowls, taking care not to leave any traces of red in the egg whites.
- Beat the egg whites with electric whips, putting in the sugar several times until the mixture is firm and glossy.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the milk and sifted baking powder and whisk until smooth.
- Combine the egg whites with the rest of the ingredients, stirring with a spoon or spatula in slow, top-to-bottom movements so as not to disassemble the mixture.
- In a hot skillet place a knob of butter. Once the butter is melted, add spoonfuls of the mixture (depending on the size of the pan used arrange spoonfuls of mixture so that the pancakes do not brush against each other as they grow as they cook), then add drops of water to the pan (see video) and close with lid.
- After about 4 minutes have elapsed, flip the pancake to complete cooking on the other side as well, adding more water.
- Serve hot accompanied by maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream or any other topping to taste.
