Grandma’s Cake Apple Bundte: An Old-Fashioned Recipe, Tall and Super Soft!…

Grandma’s apple Bundt Cake recipe without butter and milk, tall, soft and easy to make, Bundt Cake recipes are absolutely among my favorite desserts, the way they used to be made, a soft fluffy Cake perfect for breakfast and snack for the whole family, this Apple Bundt recipe has lots of orange juice in the dough, oil, eggs, sugar, flour and of course apples, simple ingredients that when put together give us a great dessert, just like the doughnut of yesteryear that grandmothers used to make.

Grandma’s Apple Bundt Cake Ingredients

For a 20 cm (8-inch) Bundt pan

  • 4 eggs
  •  2 apples
  •  150 g (3/4 cup) granulated sugar
  •  100 ml (1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon) vegetable oil
  •  50 ml (3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon) orange juice
  •  250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  •  1 packet (about 16 g or 4 teaspoons) baking powder
  •  Ground cinnamon (for the surface)
  •  Granulated sugar (for the surface)

How to make Grandma’s Cake Apple Bundte:

  1. To prepare Grandma’s Cake Apple Bundt first put the whole eggs with the sugar in a bowl and start whipping them at full speed with electric whips.
  2. Whip the eggs at least 15 minutes, when they become fluffy and frothy add the seed oil and orange juice.
  3. Continue to whip the soft Cake Apple Bundt mixture and add the sifted 00 flour a little at a time, when the flour is completely absorbed add the sifted baking powder also.
  4. Continue mixing with the beater until you have a creamy, lump-free dough.
  5. Transfer the Cake mixture to the buttered and floured mold.
  6. Peel and cut the apples into thin wedges, place them on the surface of the cake in a radial pattern, trying not to leave any gaps.
  7. In a bowl mix together sugar and cinnamon, put them on the surface of the apple donut and bake it in a preheated oven, in static mode at 180° for about 40 minutes, always do the toothpick test to check if it is cooked.
  8. Take the Grandma’s Cake Apple Bundt out of the oven and let it cool completely before removing it from the mold.
