Non-alcoholic Spritz Aperitif | Ginger and Lemon…
But did you know that we also exist? I’m referring to the teetotalers. Everyone toasts and what do we do? Do we drink water? And so, here is a delicious non-alcoholic aperitif that is really as good as it is simple and ultra quick to prepare. SPRINT, indeed. It is delightful, fresh and very thirst quenching and is perfect in any season. But I’ll tell you more: I could see that even non-drinkers like it very much. So don’t hesitate to try it; save the recipe and you will see that it will come in handy sooner or later. Wanna bet?
Ingredients:
Servings can be adjusted as needed
- 1 Crodino (a non-alcoholic Italian bitter aperitif)
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) blood orange juice
- 3 ice cubes
- Sugar to taste
- 1 orange slice (for garnish)
How to make Non-alcoholic Spritz Aperitif | Ginger and Lemon
- Wet the entire rim of a wide, low glass (also known as a tumbler) with a slice of orange.
- Spread some caster sugar (superfine sugar in the US) on the bottom of a saucer. Invert the glass over it as shown in the photograph: this will create the classic sugary rim that is pleasing both to the taste and the eye.
- Pour the Crodino and blood orange juice into the glass and stir.
- Add three ice cubes to the glass.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
- Serve the non-alcoholic aperitif immediately!
Super refreshing, isn’t it? Enjoy!
