Ingredients:
For the pastry:
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup (60g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 7 tablespoons (100g) unsalted butter
For the filling:
- 1 cup (200g) mascarpone cheese
- 2 tablespoons (30g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons (50g) Nutella®
How to make Nutella Mascarpone Tarts:
- Pour flour with baking powder and sugar into a bowl, add egg and chopped butter, knead well and make a ball.
- Roll out one half in an 8-inch baking pan and place in the freezer.
- Process the mascarpone cheese with the sugar and egg to a creamy, smooth mixture.
- Stuff the base and top with the other half of shortcrust pastry, seal the edges and bake.
- Bake in a hot oven at 180° for 25 minutes then let cool. Or bake in the air fryer at 160° for about 20-25 minutes.
