Party Hamburgers : The stress-free alternative to dinner with friend…

Dinner with friends is always fun – but unfortunately also a lot of work. So what do you do when you feel like a cozy get-together and good food, but don’t want to spend hours alone at the stove?

The solution is as simple as it is ingenious: simply let your guests help you cook! To make the whole thing look like fun rather than work, the setting must of course be coordinated. And what could be more appropriate than a burger party? The guests chop the lettuce, tomatoes and onions, while you simply fry the patties yourself. Each guest can then assemble their own individual burger as they please. Little preparation and maximum fun preparing together sounds like the perfect dinner party.

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of toast bread
  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Onion rings
  • Olives (optional)
  • Ketchup and mustard for serving

How to make Party Hamburgers:

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the ingredients evenly.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, slightly larger than the size of your hamburger buns.
  4. Place the hamburger patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If you prefer, you can also cook the patties in a skillet on the stovetop.
  5. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the bread on the grill or in a toaster. Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt slightly.
  6. Assemble the hamburger toasts by placing a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom half of each slice of toast toast. Add the cooked hamburger patty.
  7. Garnish with raw onion rings, olives, radish or slices of apples.
  8. Serve the hamburger toasts with ketchup and mustard on the side.
