Pineapple Tiramisù : Tropical, Fruity, Creamy, Smooth and Delicious…
The king of Italian pastry preparations: tiramisu! The best known in the world, also the most reproposed in many different flavor nuances. We have already made it with lemon, strawberries,orange… in this recipe we thought of an exotic version: pineapple tiramisu. It is made only with mascarpone and pineapple puree in syrup, flavored with lime zest. This soft creamy, enveloping layer will hide a bed of diced pineapple and ladyfingers. Unusual and refreshing taste to serve tiramisu in a new way every time!
Ingredients for a 9×6 inch (22.5×14.5 cm) dish
- 500g (17.6 oz) canned pineapple in syrup
- 500g (17.6 oz) mascarpone cheese
- Zest of 1 lime
- 68g (2.4 oz) ladyfingers (about 8 biscuits)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting, as needed
How to make Pineapple Tiramisù:
- To prepare the pineapple tiramisu, start by draining the pineapple in syrup from its preserving liquid. Then cut the slices into small pieces and set aside again to drain for about 5 minutes.
- Blend 1/3 of the diced pineapple with an immersion blender until pureed. Add the puree to the mascarpone and stir to blend with a marisa.
- Once ready, grate the lime. Arrange the ladyfingers in a 22.5×14.5-cm baking dish
- Spread the diced pineapple and compact it. Then pour in the mascarpone cream and level it.
- Garnish your pineapple tiramisu with bitter cocoa. Place your tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before enjoying.
