For this recipe, you’ll need:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 egg
  • 25g (3 tablespoons) unsweetened cocoa powder

How to make Sugar-Free Mug Cake:

  1. Before we begin, a clarification is in order. In this recipe we can keep the peel of the apples, but on one condition. They must be organic and of certain origin, we must make sure that they have not been treated with pesticides, otherwise, let’s peel them.
  2. Let’s wash the fruit and dry it. Let’s remove the core, then cut it into chunks.
  3. Let’s transfer it to the food processor. Let’s add the cocoa and break the egg. We operate the appliance and let it process for about 20 seconds.
  4. Let’s pour the resulting mixture into a ceramic cup, or into a mold suitable for baking at high temperatures, and bake in the oven at 180° C  (340 °F) for about 25 minutes.
  5. Let’s take it out of the oven and let it cool, then enjoy our mug cake.
