Super Creamy Apple Pie: Will Melt in Your Mouth…
Creamy apple pie is a fabulous, light and delicate dessert without too much fat. In fact it is prepared with 3 eggs, very little flour, no oil and butter only to butter the pan. For the recipe I was inspired by the famous French dessert Claofutis that is made with cherries, it has a particularly creamy texture, you have to try it to understand its goodness!
Ingredients:
- 3 Eggs
- 200 ml (6.8 fl oz) Milk
- 100 g (3/4 cup) Plain Flour (All-Purpose Flour)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 pinches Ground Cinnamon
- 130 g (2/3 cup) Caster Sugar (Granulated Sugar)
- 2 Large Apples
For greasing:
- Butter, as needed
- 4 tablespoons Brown Sugar
How to make Super creamy Apple Pie:
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar with a mixer, then add the flavoring, milk and finally the sifted flour.
- Then tip the mixture onto the buttered cake pan sprinkled with brown sugar and set aside; peel the apples and cut them into quarters or nice large wedges.
- Lay them in the cake pan in a radial pattern, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 35 to 40 minutes while baking they will puff up a bit but do not worry.
- Unmold your creamy apple pie and let it cool, then sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar and serve.
