Tall and Fluffy Apple Cake: The Best Recipe

Tall and Fluffy Apple Cake: The Best Recipe…

Today we are preparing tall and fluffy Apple Pie, a great classic among desserts, which adults and children alike enjoy! It survives fads and trends, is perfect from breakfast to five o’clock tea, one slice is enough to lift the spirits. Apple pie is home, it smells good!

Ingredients:

  • 3 apples
  • 3 eggs
  • 150g (3/4 cup) sugar
  • 300g (2 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 60g (1/4 cup) melted butter
  • 70ml (1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon) milk
  • 16g (4 teaspoons) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

How to Prepare Tall and Fluffy Apple Cake:

  1. Beat eggs with sugar for 5 minutes using a planetary mixer or electric whips.
  2. Add the milk, melted butter flush, flour a little at a time, vanillin and baking powder. Work the dough with the whips for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Cut half of the apple into cubes (if you like the texture of cooked apple you could also put a whole one) and add it to the mixture. Mix it all together with the spatula, stirring from the bottom to the top.
  4. Pour the resulting mixture into a buttered and floured 22-cm mold.
  5. Cut the rest of the apples in half, removing the core with a teaspoon then cut into thin slices. I like to leave the peel on to add a touch of color to the pie but if you prefer you can peel them.
  6. Arrange the sliced apples on the surface to form a sort of geometric pattern; add a pinch of caster sugar on top (so you get a nice golden crust) and bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes.
  7. Take out of the oven, let cool completely, decorate with powdered sugar and serve!
