Vegan Banana Bread: An Incredibly Delicious Recipe!

I admit it with some shame: vegan desserts have never been my thing. With a few rare exceptions, they have never come to me. Some times they don’t rise for me, others they are inedible “wads.” But this banana bread amazed me. Soft, flavorful, moist. Of course, you have to let it cool completely before eating it, but if you have patience it knows how to amaze at the first taste! Below are some tips for making this banana bread recipe smoothly!

Ingredients:

  • 280g (2 1/4 cups) ripe bananas, mashed (about 3 medium bananas)
  • 90g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) plant-based milk of your choice
  • 90ml (1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon) vegetable oil
  • 260g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 16g (4 teaspoons) baking powder
  • 100g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 banana for decoration

How to Prepare Vegan Banana Bread:

  1. We slice 280 g banana and then mash it finely with a fork.
  2. We combine the sugar and whip with the whisk, add the milk next, mix, the oil and mix again.
  3. At this point we add the flour, a little at a time, and when it has been absorbed we add the baking powder. We give it one last stir to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  4. We chop 100 g of dark chocolate, 50 g add it to the mixture, the other 50 g keep it aside for decoration.
  5. Let’s move the mixture into a greased and floured pumcake mold. Let’s decorate it by adding a banana cut in half lengthwise and the chocolate kept aside. We bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 45 minutes.
  6. The banana bread is ready, let it cool completely, remove it from the mold and … taste!
